Drill Into the Records Behind a Count in an Inspect Table
When you inspect a widget, Qvasa shows the agents, groups or organizations behind the number, each with columns of counts. You can now click one of those counts to open the records behind it in the same inspect window.
For example, open an Agents table, find an agent whose Open Assignments looks high, and click that number. The agent's open tickets open below the tab. A drill tree above the table keeps track of every table you open, so you can move between agents and columns without losing your place.
Before you start
If you can open Inspect on a widget, you can drill in. No extra setup or permission is needed.
Drilling in works wherever you inspect live data: a widget's Inspect button, a cell in a dashboard table, or a segment of a chart.
Clickable counts are on the Agents, Groups and Organizations tables. A number is clickable when it's built from records Qvasa can list, such as tickets, phone calls, agent status records or work items.
Drilling in, step by step
1. Open the Agents tab of an inspect
Click Inspect on a widget and choose the Agents tab. Sort by the column you care about. Below, Open Assignments is sorted high to low, so the busiest agents are at the top.
2. Click a count
Click an agent's number in Open Assignments. That agent's open tickets load in the same window. The drill tree above them reads Agents › the agent › Open Assignments › Tickets, and the highlighted entry is the table you're looking at.
The table has the full inspect toolbar: download it as a CSV, save it as a collection, run an AI drill-in, or change its columns.
3. Keep exploring from the drill tree
Click Agents at the top of the tree to go back to the agent list, then click another count: a different agent, or a different column for the same agent. Each one adds a branch to the tree.
Click any entry in the tree to see that table again. Tables you've already opened appear right away, without reloading.
A light gray entry is another kind of record behind the same count that you haven't opened yet. For example, Avg Messaging Concurrency covers both tickets and work item status records. Click the gray entry to open it.
The tree keeps every branch until you close the inspect, including when you switch tabs and come back.
4. It works for groups and organizations too
On a Groups or Organizations tab, click a ticket count to open just that group's or organization's tickets.
Which columns a drilled-in table shows
A drilled-in table uses the same columns as any inspect table of that type: the widget's column set if it has one, otherwise the dashboard's, otherwise your account default. See Inspect Column Sets: Account Defaults and Dashboard Column Sets.
Column changes made in one table apply to every table of the same type in that inspect. For example, add a column to one agent's Tickets table and the other Tickets tables, including the top-level Tickets tab, show it too.
Troubleshooting
A number isn't clickable. A number is clickable when there are records behind it for Qvasa to list, which can include rates and times as well as counts. Columns without records behind them, such as an agent's name, stay plain. Collections you open from Saved Collections show their saved records as they are.
"This tab already holds 25 drill-ins". An inspect tab keeps up to 25 drilled-in tables. Everything you've opened stays in the tree. To start a fresh tree, close the inspect and open it again.
"Many tables are loading at once — retrying…" If you open many tables quickly, Qvasa waits briefly and loads the rest by itself. If a table still can't load, its entry in the tree shows !. Click it to try again.
